Is the dough really safe to eat raw?
Yes. The recipe is egg-free from the start and the almond flour is heat-treated by our supplier (kill step for E. coli and Salmonella). Independent lab testing came back with a water activity of 0.64 — well below the FDA non-TCS threshold of 0.85, in the same range as honey and dried fruit. Eat it by the spoon, no asterisks.
How long does it keep?
Cookie Dough is certified shelf-stable for 90 days in the pantry, up to 6 months refrigerated, and up to 1 year frozen. Baked cookies are best within 7 days on the counter, or freeze them up to 30 days and warm at 350°F for 5 minutes.
What allergens are you free from?
Free from 8 of the 9 major US food allergens: dairy, eggs, wheat, peanuts, soy, sesame, fish, and shellfish. The one we use is tree nuts (almond flour) — we use it on purpose and we'll never hide it. Our kitchen also handles coconut. Read more on The Allergen Promise.
Vegan?
Yes. Every Omnom recipe is fully vegan — no dairy, no eggs, no honey, no gelatin, nothing animal-derived. The agave nectar is our sweetener of choice.
What's actually in it?
Every dough starts with the same six ingredients: blanched almond flour, raw agave nectar, organic coconut oil, homemade vanilla extract, salt, and baking soda. Birthday Cake adds low-allergy plant-based sprinkles. Choco-Chip adds low-allergy chocolate chips. That's it.
How do I bake the dough?
Preheat to 350°F. Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place on an oiled or parchment-lined sheet. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown. While still hot, give each cookie a squish with the back of a spoon to flatten. Rest 5–10 minutes and you're eating warm cookies.
Does the dough need to ship cold?
No. Because the dough is certified shelf-stable, it ships in a standard mailer at room temperature — no ice packs, no insulated box, no 2-day shipping floor. That keeps shipping costs honest and lets us pass the savings to you.

Where do you make the cookies?
Our home kitchen in Austin, Texas. Every batch is mixed by hand, scooped to weight, and labeled with the baker's initials and a batch number. We operate under the Texas Cottage Food Production Operation rules.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We're US-only for now while we're cottage-licensed. International shipping is on the roadmap once we move to a commercial kitchen.
